Queen’s Award For Voluntary Service

The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the top honour awarded to volunteer teams across the UK. Group of 2 or more serving as volunteers can be nominated for the award. The vast of the team must be volunteers, and over 50% should obtains the right to be residents in the UK.

To be awarded they should serve in the following way:

  • guarantee a service and meet a demand for people from the local community;
  • support, recognis and respect the local community and the people who get benefits from it;
  • help in the local area.

What the winners get?

Winners recieve a certificate with a signature of the Queen and a domed glass crystal. Representatives from the group may also be invited to visit a royal garden party.
