What is The Enablers Project?

The Enablers Project offers support to parents of disabled children through a befriending service.

There are currently volunteering opportunities within the project for befrienders.

Our volunteers are parents, carers and family members of children with special needs who can:

• provide one to one support in a non judge mental and friendly way
• sign post you to other services
• Listen when you need to talk
• Provide flexible support through regular telephone calls, meeting for coffee etc.
• Allow parent carers the opportunity to be themselves and not just a carer.
