The Volunteer Centre are pro-active in promoting volunteering within Neath Port Talbot through a range of activities:-
Presentations
The staff at the centre are available to talk to schools, college groups organisations, youth clubs and pre-retirement groups about volunteering.
We frequently visit a range of organisations to talk about the many benefits of volunteering and the wide range of opportunities available.
Presentations can be interactive and would be designed to meet the need of the organisation.
Employee Volunteer Days
Neath Port Talbot CVS can work with your organisation to develop employee volunteering policies and to help you identify either a one off taster day or on going placements.
We have organised a range of placements in the past for the Ospreys, Her Majestys Revenue and Customs, Volunteer Managers and the Department of Economy and Transport.
Volunteer Projects
The Volunteer Centre are able to work with your group to organise a series of taster days that can be tailor made to meet your needs.
We have worked with a range of organisations and for example have organised projects between Neath College pre vocational department and Trothwy Cyf, Sandfields Comprehensive School and Dulais Valley Partnership.
