Neath Port Talbot’s Volunteers Pub Quiz (29th April 2010)

A highly successful Volunteers Pub Quiz organised by Neath Port Talbot CVS Volunteer Centre was held on April 29th at the Central Club, Neath.

The event, which was a free fun and information exchange night organised for volunteers and their managers, proved to be very popular with over 90 people attending from 13 different organisations including Victim Support, the Youth Opportunities Bank, Dulais Valley Partnership, MIND and Neath Credit Union.

The evening provided an opportunity for volunteers and their managers to network, learn about other organisations and to enjoy themselves with a chip supper. It was also a valuable intergenerational activity as it provided a social opportunity for both younger and older volunteers to mix.

The quiz proved to be a hugely enjoyable activity with the runners up being the “Guardian Angels” the team from the Neath Port Talbot CVS Social Services Volunteer Scheme and the Winners being “Eddie Quizard” the team from the Neath Port Talbot CBC Youth Offending Team.
