Neath Port Talbot Council for Voluntary Service

Introducing the bus as the environmentally friendly and stress free way to get to and around Afan Forest Park.  Buses run every hour on weekdays from Neath, Port Talbot (with good Swansea connections) to all parts of the Park; and most hours from Neath (with good Swansea connections) on Sundays.  All day tickets are available from Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot at attractive prices.

There is also a new ticket facility available from principal railway stations in South Wales for through fares to any part of Afan Forest Park via Port Talbot station.  It’s called Port Talbot Plus Bus.

Community Transport was officially launched on Monday 22^nd June at the Gnoll Park visitor centre by the Director of CTA Wales, Betsan Caldwell.

The Swansea Quadrant Bus Station is closing for refurbishment for 15 months from the 13th June 2009.  During this period temporary bus stops will be situated around the city centre.  Please be aware of this when planning your journeys in and around Swansea. Help support a UK network of community organisations delivering local transport solutions to achieve social change

The CTA is a national charity providing leadership, learning and enterprise support to over 1300 member organisations in the third sector delivering local transport solutions to achieve social change. As they embark on delivering a new strategic plan, during which they will celebrate their 25^th anniversary, they are now seeking four entrepreneurially minded trustees to join their Board and help drive the organisation forward.
