The Enterprising Wales 2010 competition recognises and rewards those cities, villages, towns and neighbourhoods that have tackled the economic downturn head on and are successfully creating jobs, boosting local business and nurturing entrepreneurial talent as the UK emerges from the recession. GO Wales, a part ESF funded graduate employability programme, wishes to let a framework arrangement to put into place training for graduates in Wales who want to explore or take their first steps towards a freelancing career. This will build on a successful pilot programme, run in October and November 2009, which delivered training to 17 participants, of which it is expected 14 will gain the ILM Level 3 Award in Starting Your Enterprise. HEFCW, the Project Sponsor for the GO Wales programme, would like to let a framework arrangement to:

• Devise a suitable short programme which will lead to the achievement of the ILM Award in Starting Your Own Enterprise or equivalent qualification

• Deliver a series of training programmes at venues across Wales for approximately 240 participants

• The framework arrangement is expected to run from June 2010 until November 2011.
