If you think you know a school or a young person that has helped or plans to help people within your community to get online, they could be in with a chance to win some incredible awards. There are cash awards of up to £4,000 available for schools and laptops and iPads available for young people up to the age of 16.

Royal National Institute of Blind People – Researcher – Fundraising – Make a difference in your local community, by joining their already successful team of dedicated fundraising volunteers. they are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to assist within their Community Fundraising department.

Volunteers needed to help research target audiences who are willing to support RNIB Cymru to help raise funds for blind and partially sighted people.

The days and times are flexible to suit you and can be weekdays, evenings or weekends. they would like a commitment of a minimum of 4 hours a month. If you are interested and would like more information please contact Neath Port Talbot CVS Volunteer Centre on 01639 631387 or info@nptcvs.org.uk.

Our region has a flourishing Third Sector which contributes to our vibrant communities. We aim to secure its future through an exciting new programme of support to create sustainable organisations. Carmarthenshire County Council has joined together with the County Councils in Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire and Swansea and the County Voluntary Councils in Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire and Swansea to form a unique partnership to combine resources for the success of the project. Tenants Vote ‘Yes’ to Transfer to NPTHomes

Tenants in Neath Port Talbot have voted to transfer their homes to NPT Homes. Independent organisation Electoral Reform Services, which ran the ballot, have released the results of the secret ballot of tenants in which 61.6% voted, 56.6% supported the transfer proposal and 43.4% did not support the Council’s transfer proposal.
