Online survey: Service providers’ views on dignity and older women from BME backgrounds

April 18th, 2012

Researchers at the University of Glamorgan would like to invite service providers in Wales to take part in an online survey.

They are interested in your views of what older people would say about dignity and the care or support you provide, as well as your own views. You can help us if you:

· deliver hands on care or support to older people

· supervise others delivering such services

· manage such services

This includes people who deliver community-based services, such as dinner clubs, women’s community groups and support groups, as well as advocates, good neighbour scheme coordinators and volunteers, reablement/settlement workers, welfare rights support workers, supported shopping workers, and those providing domiciliary care.

Please complete the survey online at:  https://www.survey.glam.ac.uk/dignitybme.

Please see the Information Leaflet for further information.

Please contact Dr Juping Yu by emailing jyu@glam.ac.uk or phoning 01443 483879, if you:

· experience any difficulties

· would prefer to complete the survey by filling in a hard copy of the questionnaire (they can send you hard copies that can be returned using FREEPOST)

· would prefer to complete the survey by telephone
