Sustainable Communities Act

The Sustainable Communties Act became Law in October 2007.  In October 2008 it took effect when central government in Westminister invited all principle councils in England to use the process the Act sets up.  So at the moment the Act currently applies to England only.  However, it is possible for the Act to be applied to Wales.  Download a briefing paper by Local Works.
